D&M Motors has been a trusted name in West Kirby since its establishment in 1976 by David Hughes-Jones, who started the business at the age of 19. Originally located in West Kirby Old Village, David focused on vehicle repairs and bodywork before expanding to Acacia Grove with the acquisition of Barlow & Whitehead Tyre Centre. In 2002, the operations were consolidated at the current MOT Station on Elder Grove. Over the years, D&M Motors has become a cornerstone of the local community, with David's sons, Joe and Tom, joining the family business in 2009 and 2011 respectively. Today, D&M Motors proudly stands as the only MOT Station in West Kirby, continuing to deliver reliable, high-quality automotive services with a personal touch.

Excellent, I’d highly recommend them. They replaced my aux battery on my car without any fuss. Very knowledgeable on all car makes, friendly and give you an honest quote without charging sky high prices like other garages and main dealers. Dealt with the owner and his son Joe who are both genuine guys. I won’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone and I’ll definitely use them again if I need anything doing.

I came to DM Motors today after being quoted an extortionate amount from Halfords to fix a suspension wishbone. They fitted me in within the same day and fixed it within a couple of hours (for £200 less than Halfords!!). Great customer service and they did a great job- thank you so much!
